Father cal christiansen, S.T.D.
Pastor
Father Cal ("Padre Calito" to the Hispanic community) was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Raised in a German-Canadian household, he moved in the early 1980s to Washington and grew up on the Olympic Peninsula. He first attended the University of Washington and then transferred to St. Martin's University, where he earned a BA in Religious Studies & Theology. Then, discerning a vocation to the priesthood, he entered St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, California.
Father Cal was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Seattle in June 2008. Upon ordination, he was appointed Parochial Vicar of several parishes in Tacoma. Then, he served as Priest Administrator at
St. Rose Parish in Longview, Washington. Upon completion of his term, he was appointed Pastor of St. Pius X Parish in Mountlake Terrace, where he served for eleven years. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Clough School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College.
Father Cal has studied Spanish extensively in Mexico and has ministered there. He has joyfully served the Hispanic community across the Archdiocese, bringing together the excitement and enthusiasm of their culture and his own -- being a convert to the Catholic faith has provided him great zeal and enthusiasm.
When not actively engaged in ministry and academics, Father Cal can be found running, bicycling, skiing, backpacking, occasionally sneaking out to see a good movie, and spending time with families. He is incredibly excited to serve each of you as your pastor, and has great hope and expectant faith for the work that the Lord will accomplish in our midst!

Dave soprano
regional facilities supervisor
I was born and raised in beautiful upstate New York. After graduating high school I moved to North Carolina, where I met my amazing wife, Renee. Originally from Yakima, she wanted to move back to be close to her family.
Once in Yakima we had the biggest blessing - our daughter Stella - so I decided to switch careers from working in the restaurant industry and learn a trade. I enrolled at Perry Technical institute for electrical technology, and after graduation I finished my apprenticeship here in Puyallup. I’ve been a licensed 01 journeyman for 10 years.
We started at All Saints Parish when we enrolled Stella into Kindergarten in 2020. After Renee completed RCIA [now OCIA], we were remarried there. Renee sings in the choir, and I have been volunteering with any electrical work that needed to be done. I love lacrosse, going to Seahawks games and traveling.
