Welcome to our School!

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy offers a safe and caring community that supports parents as primary educators for their children. Founded to serve any family committed to Catholic education, we support every child in a Christ-centered environment, providing both an excellent education and a strong moral foundation. We are committed to diversity, accessibility, and excellence.

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy serves children from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade, and is one of the most diverse schools in the Archdiocese of Seattle. We offer a cutting-edge bilingual program (English and Spanish) through 8th Grade. Pre-Kindergarten is 100% full-immersion Spanish, and our Kindergarten is 70% Spanish and 30% English. Grades 1 to 8 are majority English with one Spanish block per day, which allows students of all backgrounds to enter the Academy at any grade, while learning 2 languages! We also offer a variety of electives and other opportunities for enrichment and building cultural competency.

One Parish Planning

Now underway

Our Parish Family is made up of the following communities of faith:

St. Martin of Tours and Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

All Saints Parish and School (Puyallup)

and

Sacred Heart Parish (Tacoma)

Under the leadership of our Pastor (Father Cal Christiansen) and Parochial Vicars (Fathers Dexter Dais, Quy Duong and Gilberto Mora Tapia), our Parish Family is currently working together to become 1 canonical Parish by 2027 through One Parish Planning. This pastoral planning effort is taking place across the Archdiocese of Seattle to reinvigorate and renew our local Church, in response to the needs of the people and the realities of today.

October 2025 update

Thank you for taking the time to complete the surveys. We appreciate it so much. God bless you!

- Vivian Shannon, Parish Family #34 PFAC Chair

We received over 1,000 submitted surveys from across our 3 Parishes. Each household's participation helps us more accurately define who are we now, for later discernment of who do we want to become during the One Parish Planning process. (See Stages 2 and 3 of the timeline below.) Data is currently being collated, and results will be shared within our Parish Family in the coming weeks.

What are 'PFLT' and 'PFAC'?

Key to the successful implementation of One Parish Planning are 2 groups consisting of representatives from our 3 Parishes: PFLT (Parish Family Leadership Team; comprised of Parish staff) and PFAC (Parish Family Advisory Council; comprised of volunteers). Please pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide these consultative bodies.
